![]() The Morrisby ProfileThe Morrisby Profile has established itself among careers guidance specialists and employers as one of the best and more useful psychometric tests for those wishing to decide on a career or educational path.It is a series of individual 'tests', sometimes called a test battery, which help to assess aptitude and work-related personality. Although the tests are administered in a formal manner, they are not examinations. The results from these tests provide a valuable insight into your ability patterns and the sort of work environment which would suit you best. How can the Morrisby Profile Help? The Morrisby Profile finds out what your strengths are and what special aptitudes you may have. According to the highly respected Morrisby Organisation, when the Morrisby Profile "is used in conjunction with a detailed job analysis, it provides a powerful method of matching applicants to jobs". For example, good verbal ability is associated with many administrative, managerial and people-oriented occupations. In contrast, strong perceptual ability indicates a potential in scientific and engineering areas. The Morrisby Profile can also help to pinpoint your preferred method of studying and learning, for example, indicating whether you would prefer a course with lots of practical activities, or a more academic mode of teaching. The combined results of the Morrisby tests are used to give you a valuable profile of yourself and of your strengths and limitations. How long does it take to sit the Profile? This report has my son to a 'T'. There is so much information to digest but it has given him such a boost. He has decided to have his gap year and apply to University next year and not defer this year. He doesn't want an interview as he thinks he has all the information he requires but he thanks you for your time.He has passed his driving test this week and coupled with your report, he is feeling much more possive about the future. Thank you once again Lesley for your professional help, you have certainly had an immediate effect in the way my son is viewing his future, and how much brighter his career looks. - Sally |
