matrix Standard #01

Registered matrix Adviser

The matrix Standard is the national quality standard for any organisation that delivers information, advice and/or guidance on learning and work. The Standard Setting Body (ENTO) and the Accreditation Body (EMQC) have recruited, trained and Registered Advisers and Assessors to Advise organisations prior to seeking Accreditation and to Assess them against the matrix standard.

These are listed on the following website. www.matrixstandard.com .

The matrix Standard is the property of the Secretary of State for Innovation, Universities and Skills.

Lesley Urbach is a Registered matrix Adviser and Assessor. Her role as an Adviser involves helping organisations prepare for Accreditation against the matrix standard.

This advice includes:
  • Explaining the requirements of the Standard and helping organisations identify their strengths and areas for development against the criteria
  • Explaining the procedures for applying for Accreditation and what the Assessment may involve
  • Telling you what the Assessor might be looking for when they visit your organisation.
My services also include:
  • Guiding your staff and if relevant your management committees through the requirements of the Standard so that they will be fully involved in the Assessment process
  • Conducting a health check for your organisation against the requirements of the Standard and providing you with an action plan on the basis of my findings.

My fees are £350 a day.

If you are still considering whether to apply for accreditation, I can offer a free two hour introductory session about the matrix Standard. We would then discuss how you might wish to use my services further to the benefit of your organisation.

More information about the standard is available from www.matrixstandard.com .
